Art Class Creations

I also want to share a part of my creative growth through my Art 1 and Art 2 classes in 9th and 10th grade. Before high school, art felt distant to me — something I appreciated from afar. But learning about art history, techniques, and different ways of seeing changed that.

Through these classes, I learned that expression is not only logical or written. I began exploring how lines, shapes, color, and texture can communicate ideas and emotions in ways words cannot. Even when a message is not fully literal or complete, art can still convey meaning conceptually and quietly.

This experience helped me understand that creating visual work is another form of thinking. It allowed me to approach ideas with curiosity and to express myself more freely. Below are a few pieces from that journey — simple steps in learning how to see, feel, and express through art.
